Dislocation: Paintings and Poetry An Exhibition by Chris Walker and Mark Boardman "Influenced by old jazz records, nature and beat poetry, Chris Walker and Mark Boardman explore through poems and paint the contrast between musical highs and the loneliness of nature." The exhibition ran between October 4th - October 15th 2008, the culmination of the last two years of thought and work by us, which you can see on this site. Our aim was to document the way that we see the world, capturing the positives and negatives together as a single whole and tied together with jazz, drink and ancient oak trees. The artwork, along with the poetry that accompanies it is all contained in the Limited Edition Dislocation book, of which there are a few copies left. The book measures 8 1/2" x 11", is full colour hardback, and each is individually finished with a hand stamped cover. The book is £20, please contact us at info@toomuchturps.com if you would like purchase a copy.
